Meet Dr. Ehab Bar, Rockwall Orthodontist
Dr. Ehab Bar is an ABO board-certified orthodontist with a passion for advancing the art and science of orthodontics. After completing his orthodontic residency at the UCLA School of Dentistry, he pursued an additional fellowship in advanced craniofacial anomalies at the UCLA Craniofacial Center. His dedication to innovation and education led him to join UCLA as a junior faculty member, where he lectured orthodontic residents and dental students in advanced orthodontic techniques.
Training and Credentials
Research, Patents, and the Moon Aligner System
Dr. Bar’s research has focused on 3D imaging and cephalometric analysis, resulting in multiple peer-reviewed publications and three patents for novel orthodontic appliances. He is co-founder and Chief Clinical Officer of the Moon Aligner System, a clear aligner platform built around patented biomechanics for tooth movements that conventional aligners handle poorly. Patients at Bar Orthodontics are treated by the person who designs the biomechanics, not by someone following a lab’s plan.
The Practice
Today, Dr. Bar brings his expertise and patient-centered philosophy to his private practice in Rockwall, where he combines evidence-based treatment with a warm, personalized approach. Bar Orthodontics is a family-run office: Dr. Bar sees every patient personally, and his wife Youmna runs the front desk, so the person who answers the phone is the same person who greets you at your visit. The practice was named a 2026 Top Doctor by Living Magazine.
Outside the Office
Dr. Bar enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, playing guitar, and listening to classic rock and jazz records.
